Certified USDA Organic, & Demeter Certified Biodynamic® regenerative agricultural practices support the health of the planet and of all beings. Light of Day Organics is a very busy, privately-owned working farm during the growing season, so we have created visiting options that allow us to keep harvesting and producing our teas while you visit, explore, relax, & enjoy the peaceful grounds at the farm as our guests.
Options for visiting us in 2024 are:
3. Tea Classes: Register online for these amazing workshops to learn more about the history, varieties and benefits of tea and regenerative, certified Organic farming practices to create living soil teeming with vitality. https://lightofdayorganics.com/collections/classes-and-events
4. Farm Tours: Beginning at 1 pm sharp, this 1 hour guided farm tour follows our Tea Workshops, and may be purchased as an add-on to that class, or purchased individually. We suggest taking a tea class prior to taking a tour for the most optimal experience/ education.
5. Private "Taste & Tour" or Private Consultations with the owner by appointment: Purchase online using the following link, and in the notes section of check out, please indicate your date and time request. We will email you within 3 business days to verify that your private individual or group event date has been secured. 6. Private Special Events: Graduation party? Wedding? Anniversary? Birthday party? Celebration of Life? Our venue is available to host your private special event. Please look up "rental" on our website for options, pricing, and to see photos- then send inquiries to Angela@LightOfDayOrganics.com. Please include the requested date, number of guests and nature of the event being celebrated.
The Farm
This busy working farm and production kitchens are where all the magic happens! This is where our ingredients are grown each year from the heirloom seeds we collect, and where our crops are harvested by hand then dried, lovingly blended, and packaged with great care. Light of Day Organic Farm here in Traverse City is the direct source and exclusive distributor of our hand-crafted offerings.
